Lake Grassy Inn & Suites

This is not a luxury hotel, but if you are looking for a place that's clean and in a convenient location this is it. Lake Placid itself is really just a fishing town. But it had everything you need. The Inn is right on the lake. It had small fridge, dishwasher, sink, 2 burner stove top, king bed dining table, and patio with picnic table and two other chairs. Every room has a great view. The inn is older, but remodeled nicely. My only complaint was the pillows. They are large since its for a king bed so the stuffing would push to the ends when laying on them. Overall I was very happy with the room.

The location with stunning views across the lake was superb. The facilities were good.

The lake view was beautiful and peaceful. We loved the outdoor seating area with chairs and picnic tables, great place for morning coffee, or drinks with our friends, who stayed next door to us. close to town and lakes. staff was very friendly and accommodating. Being pet friendly was a huge plus as well! We would definitely come back here and would recommend it to anyone.

Our first time to visit Lake Placid. We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Grassy Inn. The owner was very nice and very helpful. The view from the patio area was incredible. Very relaxing and peaceful.

rooms are updated, lots of room, and have kitchen, fridge, and all the things that seem like home. bathtub is AMAZING! The best part is the staff, they know everyone that is here, always available, and super nice! I always check availability at this place first when I’m staying in town for work! highly recommend!
